Special Conditions of hire of Fincham Memorial Hall during COVID-19
- As the Hirer you will be responsible for ensuring those attending your activity comply with the steps taken by the committee to minimise the risk of COVID-19
- You will be responsible for cleaning door handles; light switches; window catches; equipment, toilet handles & seats; wash basins and all surfaces likely to be used during your period of of hire before other members of your group or organisation arrive and to keep the premises clean through regular cleaning of surfaces during your hire, using either the products supplied or your own ordinary domestic products. You will be required to clean again on leaving. Please take care when cleaning electrical equipment - use clothes - do not spray!
- You will make sure that everyone likely to attend your activity understands that they must not do so if they, or anyone in their household, has had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days and that if anyone develops symptoms within 7 days of attending the premises they MUST advise you and you must advise us and everyone who attended the session
- You will keep the premises well ventilated throughoutyour hire, with windows & doors open as far as possible. You will be responsible for ensuring that they are all securely closed on leaving
- You will ensure that everyone attending maintains social distancing while waiting to enter the premises and as far as possible when using more confined areas e.g. moving and stowing equipment keep the time as brief as possible. You will make sure that only one person is in either toilet at one time
- You will be responsible for the disposal of all rubbish created during your hire in the bags provided in both toilets and you will replace the bags in each toilet before leaving
- The kitchen will be out of bounds until further notice, attendees may bring their own drinks but must remove any empty bottles cans etc.
- The committee will have the right to close the hall if there are any safety concerns relating to COVID-19, for example, if someone who has attended the hall develops symptoms and a thorough cleansing is required or if it is reported that any of these special hiring conditions are not being complied with, whether by you or by other hirers, or in the event that public buildings are asked or required to close again. If this is necessary, we will do our best to inform you promptly
- In the event of someone becoming ill with suspected COVID-19 symptoms while in the hall, you should remove them to the small meeting room through the kitchen extension to the left of the stage. Sanitise hands and avert face or wear a mask when near them. Ask others in your group to leave the premises observing the usual hand sanitising and social distancing precautions and advise them to launder their clothes when they arrive home. You should have all their contact details already and you must inform a committee member immediately and arrange for the suspected person to get safely home
