Terms and Conditions - standard
Two adults (21 years of age or over) MUST be on the premises during the whole time
the hall is used for the function.

Fincham Memorial Hall is licensed for the following number of people to be on the
premises at any one time:-
150 when used for dancing
100 when used for functions utilising seating and tables
120 when used for purposes combining 1 and 2
164 when used for closely seated audience
Failure to comply with this regulation constitutes a risk to Health and Safety of your
guests and may adversely affect insurance cover for the premises.
The Hirer is responsible for the Hall for the duration of the hire.
Smoking is NOT permitted in the Hall under any circumstances.
You will need to provide your own towels and tea towels.
For Saturday night functions the Hall must be vacated by 12 midnight.
Health and Safety also requires the hirer to:
Read the Fire Alarm Drill located on the notice board and on the front door
Turn on Emergency lighting situated in the cupboard in the Ladies Toilet
Turn on the urinals in the Gent’s Toilet (if required)
Clean all work surfaces in the kitchen before use
When leaving the Hall after a function:
Please leave the Hall clean and tidy
Turn off the heating and Gent’s urinals – if used
Close all the windows
Take your rubbish home with you
Turn off all the lights including the emergency lighting
Note – the emergency light above the front door does not switch off.
Lock the door and return the key to: Silvertrees Marham Road Fincham PE33 9ES
Please note the Hall Committee reserve the right to charge the Hirer an
additional fee to cover costs of cleaning, removal of rubbish, replacement of
equipment or repairs where appropriate.
Please make arrangements to collect the key at least three days before your
event
